The Sports Council Annual General Meeting 2025 was held on the 23rd of May at the F602 Hall, New Academic Building, SLIIT.

The meeting was chaired by Mr. Uditha Gamage, Chief Student Services and Outreach Officer, and marked the official appointment of the Sports Council Top Board for 2025:

🔹 Secretary – Miss Turanja Geekiyanage
🔹 Junior Treasurer – Miss Sarah Daniel
🔹 Editor – Miss Dinithi Edirisinghe

SLIIT currently holds the position as the number one non-state university in sports, with over 30 national-level athletes representing us across various disciplines. Our vision is to reach greater heights by achieving national recognition and producing even more athletes for the national stage.
