On December 13^th, the SLIIT Faculty of Engineering collaborated with the Department of Engineering to host the Industry Consultative Board Meeting in order to review, assess and evaluate the faculty’s current facilities and curriculum. As an industry that is rapidly evolving on a daily basis thanks to the effects of technology, it has become more important than ever that graduates are well-equipped both theoretically and practically, to take on the challenges engineering in the real world presents. Held at the Malabe campus, the event was graced by industry experts who were able to offer valuable insight on the same.
