The first selection round of the SLIIT #Brainbusters 2018, Quiz Competition successfully conducted at the Sangamiththa College Galle on 18th June 2018. Students from Mahinda College-Galle, St. Aloysisus College-Galle,Sangamiththa College-Galle, Karandeniya Central College-Galle, Rippon BV College-Galle, Ambalangoda Dharmashoka College-Galle & Richmond College Galle participated at the event. All participants received a valuable Certificate from SLIIT.
A five member team from Griffith University, Australia comprising of Prof. David Grant (Pro-Vice Chancellor Business School), Associate Prof. Peter Woods (Director International), Associate Prof. Krzystof Kubachi (HDR, International), Prof. Jay Bandaralage (Professor, Economics) and Dr. Kanchana Kariyawasam (Senior Lecturer) visited SLIIT on 6th June 2018. A school workshop handled at Mahanama College Main hall on 06th June 2018. The resource person for this session was Prof. Teekshana Suraweera from SLIIT Business School. A/L Commerce section students were actively participated for this session. This programme was jointly organized by SLIIT with SLIIT Academy.

Training and development opportunities are continuously provided to enhance the skills and competencies of academic members. The Staff Development Programme organized for the year 2018 for a period of 150 hours is aimed at
