On January 26th, SLIIT participated at the SLIIT Senshino 2018 Invitational Inter-University Karate Championship organised by the SLIIT Sports Council and Karate Team. The event which was held for the first time, was hosted at the SLIIT indoor gymnasium, and is another initiative to further strengthen and hone student skills beyond the classroom. Such events are instrumental in shaping our students, allowing them to develop qualities that help them becomes wholesome individuals. SLIIT is proud to have brought home the championship, with KDU and NSBM winning 2nd and 3rdplaces respectively.
