The Convocation Dinner was held successfully on the 21st of March 2019 at the SLIIT Main Auditorium with the presence of the Chancellor, Vice Chancellor, Academic and Non-academic staff of SLIIT. The Vice Chancellor welcomed the event by thanking all the staff members who delegated their tremendous support to make the ‘ SLIIT Convocation 2019’ a victory. The convocation dinner was held with a sing – along session and a wonderful Q & A session was conducted by Professor Lalith Gamage.

Additionally, we are members of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU). Our Civil and Mechanical engineering degrees are recognized by IESL, Sri Lanka. SLIIT is the first Sri Lankan institute to be accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology, UK. We've been ranked 8th in Sri Lanka and emerged as the number 1 non-state higher education institution in Sri Lanka.
