SLIIT Robofest 2022, SLIIT’s annual robotics competition for aspiring young engineers from schools and universities, concluded on a successful note with the multi-talented participants showcasing their innovation and the future of robotics. Organized by SLIIT – Faculty of Engineering Malabe, Sri Lanka, this year’s competition was held physically for the 12th milestone year at the SLIIT Auditorium on the 25th and 26th of September 2022. From the school category, Team Trojan representing St.joseph’s College Nugegoda won first place whereas Line Follower DBot from Thakshila college Gampaha received second place. The third place was won by team Sinon from D.S Senanayake National School. Although the university category came to an end without a winner in this year’s competition, the prize for that category will be carried over to the following year’s competition.
