We successfully conducted the SLIIT Codefest School Workshop at Urubokka National School on 27th June 2025, from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, with the participation of students from five additional schools: Pasgoda Maha Vidyalaya, Beralapanthara Maha Vidyalaya, Percy Abeywardene Maha Vidyalaya, Bengamuwa Secondary School, and Dampahala Kanishta Vidyalaya.
The event saw the enthusiastic involvement of 400+ students, ranging from Grade 4 to A/L. The workshop featured three parallel sessions:
• Web Development
• Cyber Hygiene (sponsored by Asia Foundation)
• IoT and Robotics
These sessions were designed to provide students with hands-on learning experiences and exposure to emerging technologies, internet safety, and creative digital skills.
