Mr. Ian Wroot, Interim Director of the Liverpool School of Art & Design and Subject Head for Architecture at Liverpool John Moores University, UK, visited SLIIT on the 22nd of March, 2023. The International office facilitated the visit by strengthening the partnership with LJMU and SLIIT. During his visit, he met Architecture students and staff and engaged in discussions with the senior management on enhancing collaborations with the University.

Additionally, we are members of the Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) and the International Association of Universities (IAU). Our Civil and Mechanical engineering degrees are recognized by IESL, Sri Lanka. SLIIT is the first Sri Lankan institute to be accredited by the Institution of Engineering & Technology, UK. We've been ranked 8th in Sri Lanka and emerged as the number 1 non-state higher education institution in Sri Lanka.
