IMECHE President Carolyn Griffiths from the UK, recently visited SLIIT on her visit to the Sri Lanka IMECHE department, where she was given a complete tour of the campus. A significant figure in one of the most traditional mechanical engineering sectors, the rail industry, the UKa��s former chief inspector for the Rail Accident Investigation Branch and founder of the same, addressed students as part of her visit. She was also shown many student projects and examined the facilities offered by SLIIT to its students. As a revolutionary figure within the industry, her visit was a particularly memorable and influential one.
