As a continuous effort to formalise compulsory industry training for the BSc Special Honours Degree in Information Technology SLIIT has facilitated premises, furniture and equipment for several leading software organisations in Sri Lanka. Industry has readily accepted and formed their respective development centres at the SLIIT premises. As such inauguration of ZILLIONe extended development centre with their own flavour had their opening on 23rdA�September 2015A�at SLIIT Malabe Campus. ZILLIONe has established over 400 outstanding corporate customer relationships in more than 10 countries over the past 36 years.
The event was graced by our MD/CEO Prof. Lalith Gamage and attended by the respective Deans and Heads ofA�Faculty of Computing and Faculty of Engineering. ZILLONe team was led by MD/CEO Tharmarajah Suresh and their senior management carder. The event was noted as one of the most successful joining hands of industry and institute which can be further extended for the research and development projects and to get the academic staff also to involve with industry affairs are the sentiments shared by both the MD/CEOs of SLIIT and ZILLONe.
