On the second day of the Legacy Shield, an evening match between University of Sri Jayewardenepura and University of Moratuwa ended in a draw, with both teams scoring 3 goals.
The tournament was organized by the SLIIT Uni Football Team in collaboration with the SLIIT Physical Education & SLIIT Sports Council. It was held at the SLIIT Uni Grounds, New Kandy Road, Malabe, on the 4th of August 2024.
