The SLIIT Football team roared to glory, claiming the prestigious title of champions in the inaugural SLIIT Legacy Shield 2024! This historic league-based football championship, the first of its kind in university history, saw SLIIT rise to the top, bringing immense pride to the institution. The SLIIT Legacy Shield 2024 was organized by the SLIIT Uni Football team in collaboration with the Physical Education and Sports Unit. The league kicked off on the 3rd of August 2024 and culminated in a thrilling finale on the 18th of September 2024, with SLIIT lifting the Legacy Shield and sealing their place in history. A heartfelt congratulations to the SLIIT champions, all the winners, and the participating teams for making this tournament a memorable one.
