The SLIIT Sports Council, recently organized the SLIIT a�?Shuttle Buda�� Badminton tournament for the 5th consecutive year. With nearly 400 participants from schools island-wide, the tournament was held from the 30th of May to the 8th of June at the SLIIT Campus in Malabe. The age categories for this yeara��s tournament were; Under 11, Under 13 and Under 15.
The Chief Guest for the event was Professor Lalith Gamage- MD/CEO of SLIIT and the Guests of Honour were Professor Ranjith De Silva, Committee Member of the World Badminton Foundation and Mr. Rohitha Abeykoon, Business Head, Sri Lanka for CP International (PVT ) Ltd.
