The programme is directed and conducted by a team of dedicated and eminent Chartered Architects, Academics and subject specialties for each module. The SLIIT School of Architecture and its programmes were established under the guidance of Prof. Nimal De Silva, Emeritus professor of Architecture at the University of Moratuwa. Prof. Nimal De Silva is also the former Dean of the Faculty of Architecture at the University of Moratuwa.

The Students enjoy designated individual work spaces in modern studio environments to which they have 24 hours’ access. The lecture rooms, computer labs, printing and technology workshops at SLIIT provide an international standard study environment. Extra-curricular, sports, students’ associations and other campus activities provide a well-rounded university experience at the SLIIT Malabe Campus which is also a planned and designed environment with Architectural character.
