CODEFEST 2023

For the 12th consecutive year, the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology (SLIIT), the leading degree-awarding institution in Information Technology in the nation, successfully organized “CODEFEST 2023.” This initiative by SLIIT aims to enhance the overall ICT knowledge of the country, aligning with the national goal of becoming the knowledge hub of Asia. Recognizing the current needs of the country, the Faculty of Computing at SLIIT, in collaboration with the Ministry of Education, conducted CODEFEST—a Nationwide Software Competition. This event is part of a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project dedicated to spreading IT knowledge across the entire island.

CODEFEST 2023, with a remarkable participation of 2000 students from 125 schools and 1500 undergraduates from 15 universities across the island, was observed. CODEFEST 2023 expresses gratitude to its principal sponsor, OREL IT, gold sponsor GTN, technical sponsor 99X, eminent supporter Tetranyde, and BOC for their substantial support, both in terms of financial contributions and technical assistance. CODEFEST 2023 continues to play a crucial role in fostering IT education and knowledge dissemination in Sri Lanka.
