SLIIT January 2020 Intake Inauguration Ceremony was successfully held on 27th January 2020 at the Main Auditorium, SLIIT Malabe Campus. A welcome address was delivered by Prof. Lakshman Ratnayake, Chancellor of SLIIT to the students present. Then Prof. Lalith Gamage, Vice Chancellor SLIIT addressed the students and congratulated for being selected to SLIIT for their higher education and presented the opportunities available for them as SLIIT undergraduates. This was followed by speeches from Prof. Nimal Rajapakse, Deputy Vice Chancellor of SLIIT and Mr. Yashas Mallawarachchi, Director Academic Affairs. The new enrolled students will undergo a short orientation programme to help them transition successfully from a school environment to a university environment.
