SLIIT’s sports year is officially under way with the 2019 Open Tournaments that was organised for Badminton, Tennis and Table Tennis. Held across two days on February 14th and 15th, the event saw over 60 students participating at the SLIIT main campus premises. The first planned event in the 2019 sports calendar, the objective was to create and nurture an interest in sports amongst students, identifying potential new talent in the process to represent SLIIT at future events.
We look forward to an incredibly rewarding year in terms of sports here at SLIIT, and hope that these events will support students in balancing a well-rounded life
