SLIIT’s Career Day is an opportunity provided for the SLIIT students and potential employers to interact with each other directly. The young job seekers will be able to meet industry specialists to discuss career prospects, industry trends and the opportunities available in the employment market and employers could hand pick the best students for their organizations.
This annul program has always seen over 500+ candidates looking for internship and job opportunities with more than 40 companies in IT/Computing, Business, and Engineering coming in to the Malabe Campus premises to hire the best and the brightest.

SLIIT Pre-Career Week activities include
- personal and career path development workshops by companies (CV writing, Interview skills, grooming etc and changes in the job market)
- special technical session by companies that are related to current course work or introducing new technologies and trends
- scheduled interviews and Walk-in interviews on the Career Day
