The ‘CULINARY COMBO’ food festival was held on November 16th 2018. This event was organised by the English Language Teaching Unit of the Faculty of Science and Education, as a welcoming, gastronomic experience for our orientation students. Dr. Malitha Wijesundara was the chief guest.
The food items were home-made and the visitors were able to sample many varieties of Eastern and Western dishes at a reasonable price. This is one of SLIIT’s many events aimed at fostering an atmosphere of camaraderie and unity, thus enabling students to mingle and get to know each other and create a positive learning environment.”
