Spaghetti Bridge Competition organized by Civil Engineering Community was held on 13th May 2018 at Faculty of Engineering, SLIIT. Each group had to build a bridge made from Spaghetti. The bridge that was carried the heaviest load while still meeting specifications won the competition and bridges were loaded until they fail.
La Trobe University, Australia hosted an agreement signing ceremony between La Trobe and SLIIT at Cinnamon Grand on the 27th of April 2018.
