A workshop on a�?COUNSELLING PSYCHOLOGY RELATED TO STUDENT AFFAIRS AND ISSUESa�� was held on 1st October 2014 at the Engineering Faculty premises. This workshop was organized by A�the Faculty of Business for their staff members. But there were invitees from Faculty of Computing, Faculty of Engineering and Academic affairs division. Overall there were about 35 participants from SLIIT. The programme was conducted by Mr. Prasanna Perera, Senior Counsellor, Coordinator /Lecturer for Counselling Courses, IHRA, University of Colombo and MS. Arundathi Abeypala, a Counselling Psychologist.
Lecturers commented that the knowledge gain from this programme have given them the foundation to understand the studentsa�� mind and also it can be applied in their day to day life for others wellbeing.
