As a gesture of celebrating the joyous achievement for Team Nana Shilpa

As a gesture of celebrating the joyous achievement which has drawn a global focus on SLIIT, a Felicitation dinner was hosted by SLIIT at Waters Edge on Friday 25th of June 2022 for Team Nana Shilpa for triumphing as the runners-up at the Microsoft’s Imagine Cup World Championship 2022 with the presence of industry experts and members of Microsoft team from Sri Lanka. Followed by an award ceremony to embrace the outstanding performance of Team Nana Shilpa.

Chamil Diluksha, Kalpani Abeysinghe, Pamodya Maheshani and Prabath Shalitha were presented with an award for their outstanding performance by Professor Lalith Gamage, Vice-Chancellor/CEO of SLIIT and Professor Nimal Rajapaksha, Deputy Vice-Chancellor of SLIIT. An award of excellence was presented to Prof. Samantha Thelijjagoda: Supervisor of Team Nana Shilpa/Dean of SLIIT Business School, Ms. Jenny Krishara : Co-supervisor of Team Nana Shilpa/ Lecturer of SLIIT Faculty of Computing and Professor Chandimal Jayawardena – Dean of SLIIT Faculty of Computing for their tireless efforts, enthusiasm and commitment towards the success of this prestigious achievement.
