The Grand Finals of the Inter-University Esports Championship – the largest university level sporting event in Sri Lanka was held on the 06th of July 2019 at Sirasa TV, STEIN STUDIOS. SLIIT was able to perform well and won the following categories.
• Mario Kart 8 – 2nd Place: Nadeeshani Jayasinghe
• eRacer – 2nd Place: Nadeeshani Jayasinghe
• Rainbow Six Siege – Champions (Team members: Nilaksha ‘Ocsi’, Abdul ‘Cherry’ aziz, Firsan ‘Fantazma’ Nilaf’, Tejitha ‘Frosty’ Nanayakkara, Asell “MazeOne” Silva and Chamika ‘Macbravo’ )
• League of Legends – Champions (Team memebers: Ashik ‘ASH’ Saleeth, Achintha ‘Nightmare’ Konara, Nadeeshani ‘FoXy’ Jayasinghe, Prathiba ‘ASHLY’ Dissanayaka Bhanuka ‘Raven’ Ratnayake, Kavinash ‘Gosu’ Ravishka and Salindu ‘Sync’ Minol)
• Call of Duty 4 – 3rd Place (Team members: Bhanuka “CLiker” Jayamanna, Rashinda “Driver” Sandaru, Harry “Distant” Manoharan, Dinesh “Splinter” Kumara, Pinsara “Forsaken” Randunu).
