The SLIIT Colours Awarding Ceremony, held on April 25th, 2024, was a prestigious event graced by distinguished guests, including the SLIIT Chancellor Professor Lakshman Ratnayake and Guest of Honour, Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering, Hansani Weeratunge.
Over 320 athletes from SLIIT UNI were honored for their exceptional performances in sports throughout 2023. Awards included Best Player, Coaches Awards, and Special awards, totaling 407 accolades. Notable mentions include Mr. Chirayu Wijekoon as Most Outstanding Sportsman and Miss Galina Basnayake as Most Outstanding Sportswoman. The event underscores SLIIT’s commitment to sporting excellence and celebrates the dedication of its athletes.
