The staff of the SLIIT Business School celebrated the Sinhala and Tamil New Year at the faculty premises on the 19th of April 2021. Prof. Lalith Gamage , Prof. Lakshman Ratnayake, Prof. Nimal Rajapakse and Prof. Rahula Attalage joined in the festivities headed by Prof. Samantha Thelijjagoda , Dean- SLIIT Business School.
The celebrations commenced with the lighting of the hearth: one of the most significant rituals observed in the new year. This was followed by a day full of fun Avurudu games bringing in lots of laughter!
