The Business Faculty of SLIIT conducted a�?Soft Skills + 2013a�? for the second consecutive year at the SLIIT campus in Malabe on 27th September 2013 with the aim of improving school students analytical, problem solving and communication skills. The programme attracted over 200 students from grade 12 and 13.
The event was carried out in two segments. The first segment was a fun filled group activity focusing on Soft Skills, such as team work, creative thinking, time management, working under pressure and problem solving. The second segment was a quiz competition comprising five focus areas; General Knowledge, News and Current Affairs, Sports, History and Arts and Entertainment.
Musaeus College Colombo secured first place in the quiz competition with St Petera��s College Colombo and Methodist Girls College Colombo, coming in second and third respectively.
