The International Office at SLIIT values the significance of an increasingly interconnected world. As such, we bring international perspectives to the SLIIT community with “Internationalization” to raise global awareness and to create an environment that is international in character in teaching, research and outreach. Towards internationalization, a host of developments are already in use. Visiting scholars, international collaborations, faculty international expertise and research and enrolment of international students, exposure to knowledge about and from different parts of the world, preparation for communication and work with people from other cultures and countries, are some such developments.

We enjoy partnership with many leading universities around the globe and they provide opportunities for students to gain meaningful access to the business practices and networks of other countries. Further, graduates leave SLIIT with lifelong contacts, an appreciation of business responsibility to community and society, and a recognition and understanding of multicultural context of today’s business world. Our relationships with leading global companies enhance the career path of our graduates. Our alumni and friends’ network is strong, vibrant and is growing both locally and internationally.

Students from countries in the SAARC region and elsewhere, add to the international character of the SLIIT classroom. International students may find studying away from their own countries, both challenging and rewarding. At SLIIT, we provide international students with opportunities to enhance knowledge, immersed in an exciting cross-cultural environment. Our mission is to supply exceptional individuals for leadership roles in the global economy. Our curriculum and programs, faculty and student body, are all chosen towards provision of a global perspective.
