Staff Development Committee is a Faculty appointed committee to look into the specific staff training activities at the faculty level. The SDC comprised of at least one nominee each Department of the Faculty (Civil, Electrical, Mechanical and Quantity Surveying Departments). The committee meets at least once a month and take the initiatives for facilitating staff training activities on a regular basis. SDC committee reports to the Dean and progress is presented at monthly Faculty meetings.

Induction Program for junior staff is a regular activity conducted by the Faculty Staff Development Committee every year. This program is a full day event conducted for the benefit of the junior staff members. Additionally, various activities such as guest talks, webinars, short term training programs etc. are organized by the SDC committee regularly.
